VPN Stopping 5G from working

VPN has stopped 5G data from working after a Trend Micro update 2 days ago. Want our phone to be safe but need to be able to use data off wifi away from home.

This has happened to me as well. The VPN also keeps turning itself back on every time I move from 5G to WiFi and back. 

This started for me after the last application update on my iPhone 15 Pro running IOS 17.4.1

This happens all the time when my phone has an upgrade in the past I have had to uninstall Trend micro to fix . I’m over this trend should be doing bug fixes for this to not occur. 
Trend are you doing a bug fix ??

Same issue here on 4G.  First noticed on 24th April 2024.  Once VPN is turned off, all apps work fine.  When VPN is on, apps don't load any data.  If this continues, I think I'll have to delete Trend's Web Guard.  I have spoken to Apple and they have confirmed it's a Trend VPN issue (from trouble shooting on my phone).

I'm having the same problem . Have deleted the trend Micro app as advised by network provider and reinstall when update is issued to fix the problem.

Can't say what  ios version of trend as I've deleted the app to get my phone working. 

I'm using trend Micro device security ultimate.

Thank you for this information. Our team has rolled out the newest version of Mobile Security. Kindly update your app to version 11.2.1071. To update your Trend Micro Mobile Security, do the following:

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Search for Trend Micro Mobile Security.
  3. Tap the Update button beside TM Mobile Security
