TrendMicro won’t activate in app

Paid my 24 mth subs 3 days ago, but app won’t activate. I chatted with TrendMicro 3 days ago but still hasn’t activated. My payment has been received by TrendMicro.

Upon checking here, your subscription is already active. To activate Trend Micro Mobile Security, please try to follow the steps below:

  1. Open your Trend Micro app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. On Settings, tap Set Up Account. If you are already signed in, Sign Out your Trend Micro account.
  4. Go back to Settings then tap Set Up Account to sign in your Trend Micro account.

Welcome to Trend Micro Home Users Community.

 

There's no problem with the license, the renewal just didn't sync with the application, that is why it's not updating. This is an unusual behavior of the Trend Micro software and it should not happen again. 

 

You will just need to follow the instructions above to sync the renewal again.

Upon checking your account, your Trend Micro Mobile Security subscription is valid until October 3, 2021. You may manage your subscription on our online portal.

 

To activate Trend Micro Mobile Security, please try to follow the steps below:

  1. Open your Trend Micro app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. On Settings, tap Set Up Account. If you are already signed in, Sign Out your Trend Micro account.
  4. Go back to Settings then tap Set Up Account to sign in your Trend Micro account.

Make sure that you sign in the email address or account under the subscription.
