Why can’t I renew or activate recent purchases upgrade via app?

Are you getting a specific error message on the app when trying to renew?

 

For Mobile Security iOS, please try to sign-in on the Settings using your Trend Micro email account. 

  1. Open Mobile Security, scroll down choose Settings, then sign in with your Trend Micro account.
  2. If you're already signed in, check if you're seeing an option Transfer Subscription.
  3. You may also, sign out then sign in again on Settings.

The suggestion doesn’t work. Apparently I have paid for subscription but the date of expiration has not changed. I’m getting a rather large headache from this - I’m trying to activate on my mobile devices and the renew/activate does not work on my iPhone. The “choosing subscriptions” does not load the subscriptions at all. I am very disappointed with trend micro. Downloading onto my laptop also a headache and very time consuming. I’m not sure I will continue subscribing anymore after this purchase . I have been a long term user.

Can you try the steps below, please?

 

1. Open your Trend Micro app
2. Scroll down then tap Settings
3. On the Settings, tap "Sign out" to sign out your Trend Micro account. 
4. After that, go to Settings again then tap "Set up account" then sign in your Trend Micro account to reactivate.
