My VPN does not always connect, so phone doesn’t work properly!

​When I want to use my phone, sometimes VPN doesn’t connect, works intermittently, so I have to turn it off the use the phone. What can I do?​

@angelo_audrey_dizon hi, and thank you. I have an iPhone 8 version 14.5.1. The VPN does not always load on the menu bar, just twirls around, stopping my phone from operating. When I turn the VPN off in Trend, the phone works. Then I may try again several hours later in another location, and VPN comes up as soon has I use my phone. Is the VPN essential for Trend protection on web?

Yes, the web guard feature is essential it protects you from explicit or unwanted websites when you are using a mobile browser or apps that offer in-app browsing. For the issue can you check your VPN settings and make sure that the web guard feature is enabled?

 

To go to your VPN settings menu kindly follow the instructions below.

 

1. Open the IPhone settings menu 
2. Go to general 
3. Tap VPN and check if Web Guard protection is enabled 

 

Also, may I know if you're using a Wi-Fi connection or data.
