Thank you for sharing this in our community.
We haven't encountered any issues with Android Auto. Have you checked the permission required for the app?
We can isolate if Trend Micro Mobile Security is causing this behavior. Uninstall the Mobile Security app and check if the Android Auto will work without any issues. Then make sure to reinstall and activate after testing.
