Trend Micro Antivirus: Too many "Update Completed" notifications on MacOS Monterey latest version (12.2.1)
Want to stop the excessive Trend Micro Antivirus notifications with the following text in a pop-up dialogue box:
"Update Completed. The current components are all up-to-date. No new updates are available" with a "Close" button.
...and the icon bounces in the dock until you click "Close". It only updates itself once a day, but it notifies the user of that one update multiple times per day, usually as soon as the system wakes after a period of inactivity, and then again more or less every hour during active laptop use, each one requiring the user to click "Close" to make the icon stop hopping.
This is on MacOS Monterey latest version (12.2.1) running on a MacBook Pro M1 2020.

Hi gaskinno,
Welcome to Trend Micro Home Users Community.
May I know if you have tried to restart the Trend Micro components? Kindly follow the instructions below to resolve the concern.
How to turn off Antivirus for Mac temporarily
You may also delete the temporary files after turning off the software.
Hope this helps!
