OSX_REFOGKEYLOGGER.MSGKD15

As per the other posts, i have a couple of looks for OSX_REFOGKEYLOGGER.MSGKD15, a couple of web pages are trying to tell me that it is malware which multiplies or something, i did seem to be getting "1 threat found", then it kept going up and reached 16. My Mac had slowed right down. I went to transfer activation from another device to the mac but it seems no matter what i do the mac cannot connect to the internet. It has an Ethernet cable plugged in, wifi appears connected when i try it, i have also tried tethering to my mobile internet. The router appears to be functioning fine, i did a speed test from my mobile connected to it over wifi.

Hi,

jandaschreiweis.

Welcome to the Trend Micro Home Users Community!

Upon checking, we have found out that the file is not malicious, the MRT file is a built-in security of Apple. It's possible that the file has been updated thus Trend Micro program detected it. We've immediately had the file reviewed for its integrity and updated our pattern. After a manual update, it should no longer be detected.

You can follow the instruction on the link below on how to do a manual update:

How to perform manual update

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.
