My Trend Micro for Mac won’t let me manually do a scan
I can do an update, but when I hit “scan”, it won’t do anything. I have been trying to San manually for about a week. It doesn’t scan at all. How do I fix this?

Please check if there's an existing scan window, it's possible that it's already scanning. You may try to restart the Trend Micro program as well to refresh it. Try exiting Antivirus for Mac via system tray then reopen it to run a scan.

May I know more details about your Mac?
Once updated, try to restart your Mac and check if you're able to scan with Trend Micro. If it's still not initiating, you may proceed to reinstall the program based on your Mac version.
