brown exclamation point on icon

My trend micro icon on tool bar has exclamation point on brown triangle. Can't find anything that explains what that means. Is my computer protected? Why does exclamation point not go away after I do a scan?

Hi, jeanastvnsn!

This sometimes helps, give it a try (below).

1. Press on Windows Key + R on your keyboard. A window named "run" should appear at the bottom left side of your screen.
2. On the searchbox, kindly type in "supporttool" and press on Ok.
3. Press on "Yes" when the User Account Control window has appeared. The Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit should Open.
4. Once opened, go to "(C) Uninstall" tab and press on No. 5 which is "Stop all components".
5. Press on the No. 2 and 3 which says "delete now" under temporary files.
6. Wait for 2 minutes, then press on No. 4 which is "Start all components".
