Email Defender

The "Email Defender" sign sits on top of date on emails received.  I need to be able to see the date.

Hi @istead,

Welcome to the Trend Micro Users Community!

Thank you for raising this concern as well as providing the screenshot.

As for this, you may try to turn off and turn on again the email defender on your Trend Micro Toolbar and see if the placement of the email defender icon changes by following the steps below:

  1. Click on the Trend Micro toolbar.
  2. Click Email Defender
  3. Turn it off through the toggle switch.

If it still sits on top of the date and time, you may try to manage the zoom levels in your browser. Here's  How to Manage zoom levels for Chrome , How to Manage zoom levels for Edge

Hope this helps!

This does remove the offending item for me.

But ...

What is the point of this "email defender icon"?

It seems to be completely pointless and nothing more than an obstruction. And then you are advising us to turn off what is apparently a layer of protection, in order to remove a pointless icon?

Please take this bug seriously and improve your interface and customer service.

Hi @jamieloten,

Welcome to the Trend Micro Users Community!

Apologies for the confusion. We have suggested turning off Email Defender for a while and then turning it on again just to test if the issue still persists.

As we have suggested, if it still sits
on top of the date and time, you may try to manage the zoom levels in your browser.

Thank you!
